We bought our Marrekrite pennant from the VVV (tourist information office) in Heeg. Indeed they are pretty widely available in Friesland. (Most of) the mooring places are marked on the Navionics app on my phone, if you zoom in close enough of course.

Going back to the subject of weed in the Markermeer, you can get an overview of the scale of the problem here: Waterplanten.nu

It is updated, including with areas where they have "mown".
That would had been useful a few weeks ago .
Thanks for posting

Done some moving around since I last posted .
We went into Leemer there a cost of €7 for the lock and all the bridges , very busy going throught the bridges , in the end we moored up be the side of the road before the last Bridge.
There was a fee to pay of €1.25 PM.
It Only came to light later if we used the lock to the west rather the the town lock we could had say ourself the €7 .

From there we sailed to Heeg and anchored just out the channel ,
Lots of boats sailing till quite late and it was only a short dinghy ride into the village.

Departed therev late the next day and again manage go sail to Stavoren , tried a couple of island stops but never got closer then half a boat length before we came to a stop , shame really they would had been a nice over night stop,

Stavoren was again €1.25 PM including water.

Took a late lock the next day and sailed again
( yes I'm surprise the amount of sailing we doing)
To Ketelmeer a small island about .7 nm from the harbour .
Nice free anchorage , just what the doctor order, :)
It's lovely here very sheltered , it was blowing 30 kts when we entered there not a wispy or a breezes between the island .

Great place for glass of wine and nibbles.
Anyone got any suggestions of good anchorage ?
