A different but interesting project boat ?

Here in the Yard in Montengro, we came across this:

they claim that this boat has been used as a tender to Tito's yacht
the hull is aluminium,
there is a 130Hp Perkins in it


my friend, likes 1950's car models, and would like to make a offer,
we first need to find the owner ;-)

anybody who knows about this model ?
was it just a one off, or is it a brand, and have they made more of them ?

Can't help you with the brand Bart, but she certainly looks different with the late fifties Cadillac, retro fins running aft.

Electrolysis in the hull would be a concern with that ageing alloy and replacement of the curved windows, whether glass or Perspex, and having two auxiliary brackets might ring alarm bells concerning the reliability of the main engine.

She would be a bit of a head turner all tidied up (perhaps towed on a trailer by a 59 Caddy going to a muscle car show) but you wouldn't want to pay much for it as it sits there.

yes my friend and I agreed, she would be great to sit on the trailer, and park here in town on the market square, with the 50's car in front, and then enjoy looking at her from the terras, avoiding all the hassle of putting her afload

Oh crikey, another hole in the water to throw your Euro notes into! It doesn't look like a well known classic brand and I'm not sure that an association with a discredited communist dictator makes this boat into a classic so tell your mate not to expect to get his money back!

Is the boat still a runner? If so, I would offer €5000 and if it isn't a runner, the owner should pay you €5000 to take it away
