7 electric outboards stolen from Somerset

The Wimbleball Reservoir Fly Fishing Club had 7 outboards stolen last night. (Don't ask why they were left on the boats... This is Exmoor)

I will find out makes and details as soon as I can.

Most boats can't be chucked in the back of a van and be 100 miles away by morning.

My guess is they'll be abroad within a couple of days, turning up on the French or wherever equivalent of boat jumbles

When mine was stolen last year, the Plod - or call centre person didn't know what an outboard was and wasn't interested in the serial number or the fact that I'd postcoded it.
