46,000 boats for sale!

As an owner I find the fact that there are some 46,000 boats for sale in this ybw site to be deeply worrying. Or are there always about that many boats between owners?

Clearly it's good news for those wanting to buy a boat. Why bother with a new one when there is BOUND to be something out there that will meet your needs, well equipped and ready to go.

Do not worry I spent 6 months looking to buy a boat this year and most of the stuff on the web was either out of date or a load of rubbish.

The problem with the Web is that no one removes an old advert. In the end I found my dream boat in Yachting World and gave the web up as a bad job.

Hi, I concur, my mate bought a Sealine 290 which, 6 months later is still for sale, you can see the name on the hull.

Most of the adverts don’t get updated, I’m looking for evidence of a Fairline Holiday with a diesel set up to prove insurance value.

The stuff I’ve seen is described as diesel then has a 200hp petrol engine in the description !!!!!
