Anybody know where I can get gaskets (individually preferably) for perkins 4-108?
Mine blew the block to oil filter housing gasket this morning and dumped the whole contents of sump into the bilge. Unfortunately we were three miles off Selsey Bill at the time, very embarrassing.

A full set will be £150 +vat. You can make your own! try an engineering work shop for the gasket paper.

You're going to the wrong shop! I bought a complete set last year for about £70 inc VAT. Incidentally the head gasket is metalised around the cylinder cut-out, not sure if a DIY substitute is suitable.

A set is not difficult to obtain, any specialist auto shop will order it.

yep you're right. But it is not terribly accessible to make a pattern from. I'll try a few places before making my own, thanks all for responses

Dick, make your pattern from the back of the filter housing, but get the right gasket material.
