Afraid that not many of them were 3 cabin version.

You may find that some of them, like the Fairline 40 (late 70 - early 80's) were delivered with a small crew cabin (normally single berth) aft. Later on, you will find Fairline 43's and princess 45's with three cabins.

By the way, did you know that all import (new & second hand boats) to Norway is considered as "new import". As such, you need to ensure that what you buy carry a CE mark, (Sjøfartsdirektoratet 22 45 45 00). VAT on import is calculated on purchase price + HK avgift. You may therefore be better off looking at newer boats advertised as "ex VAT".

Thanks comment. Guess there is not many of those around - any suggestion as to where on coud be found? Such a boyt I guess would be owned by a company - as have been the case with the 2 cars I have imported from Germany.

Re CE mark - dont think that will be a major problem as understand this can be arranged.

My suggestion is that you get hold of a copy of Motorboats Monthly or Motor Boat & Yachting & trawl through their listings.

Otherwise, if you want a on-line tool, you can try:

where this was found...

Re; CE marking.... ref . Tollvesenets servicesenter Region Vest-Norge earlier today from a query I had, stated that certification of older boats are expensive, but were un-able of confirming how expensive, hence the ref. to Sjøfartsdirektoratet.
