As suspected after my incident where I picked up a huge piece of wood I now find my drive wont go up or down and when it goes in reverse the hook up facility doesnt work and the drive just lifts itself so I cant steer.

Still managed to moor it in a F3/4. Looks like the boat is coming out of the water earlier than anticipated!

Bummer! This sort of thing always happens mid season when you're trying to make the most of the boating season

noat coming out thursday afternoon will be out of water over weekend and back in next week fingers crossed.

290s dont have hook up forks any more just rely on Ram pressure so either Rams or pumps had gone due to excess force when I hit the bloclk of wood.

Boat liftede today, both Rams gone as I could lift and lower the drive with one hand and oil was spilling out from the seals.

Going to get it fixed next week and am adding a set of QL trim tabs.
