Hi Everyone,

Apologies for going completely silent this last little while, as some of you know I'm setting up on my own at the moment and just recently Molly has quit her job as well so we've been busy with "other things" :) Also been down with 'flu the past few days yuk :(

So far I have 40 photo's for the calendar and I'm awaiting 4 more in high res, so this is almost exactly the same number as last year. I have done the picture levelling/correcting/tweaking and fiddling for the photo's and I've uploaded the processed photos here:

ECF Calendar photo's

Disappointingly Kodak didn't introduce their 30% discount offer until a day or so ago - and it is this discount which makes the whole ECF calendar so attractively priced, as last year. Apologies to all, and especially to Jim, as this obviously means I can't get the calendars done for Christmas, but I'm doing my best for New Year

Cantata (and everyone else who has higher res pictures) can you either post full res versions here or email them to me if you have my address or PM me if you don't.

Wil has suggested a vote to pick the best 12, which I am "wil-ling" to go with if this is what everyone wishes, but I would propose instead to make the calendar a mix of single full-page shots (where appropriate) and multi-picture montages, as last year. This allows a bit more freedom to use nice shots even if they are lower resolution and of course we get to see more of everyone's photo's.

I am thinking of a few events this year that could be multi-picture:

- Ostende trip
- Pirate weekend
- St Katherines
- Winter

Let me know what you think. I haven't worked out the price yet, will do so shortly. I'm assuming a contribution to RNLI as per last year and will factor that in.

I have the following list of people who have expressed interest in the calendar from the other thread. I don't have the numbers of calendars requested for everyone yet, so please review the list below and let me know how many you want:

Neil - happy to go with your suggestion. I have high res versions of the photos I posted but at up to 22mb per file I won't send them to you unless or until you pm me for them!!

Ooooh... looking forward to the calendar... I may even be able to displace the current one hanging in the kitchen at the insistance of my 15yr old daughter, showing 12 photos of vampire/Hogwarts goody goody two shoes Edward Cullen/Cedric Digory, or Robert Pattinson as he should correctly be known.... arghh!

:)

On the assumption that Neil is busy setting up his new business, I checked the Kodak website, and the current offer of 20% reduction expires 31/01/11- oops. But, even with the offer, the price of £13.00 less 20% plus pp (that's out to you lot) and a bit for the RNLI would have taken it to £15.00 (I guess, having not checked the postage). I can check a local printer if there's still some interest. We'll have to print from say March, and I'm not sure I have the skills with the software that Neil has. I'll get back with a price from the printers, and then you can let me know who's still up for this.

I'll still have one please, if you get enough other interest for a viable print run. Thanks for taking it on.
