2010-SEALINE-T60-MOTOR-BOAT-19M-REPAIRABLE-SALVAGE-DAMAGED on Ebay

It was discussed on here a couple of weeks ago...no-one seemed to know exactly what happened, but we all agreed it was vastly over-priced.

Thanks

The translation isn't great but am I right in understanding this is what the article is suggesting. There has been water ingress into the hull extension and that water has blown the inspection hatch between the hull extension and the engine bay and sunk the boat? Not sure how they can infer that especially the inspection hatch blowing which might well have happened after the boat sunk. Boat builders use hull extensions regularly although I guess these are always watertight compartments separated from the rest of the hull. Any more opinions on this? Certainly it should make other T60 owners have the joints between the hull and extension on their boats checked out by an expert

Thats assuming the hull extension was done by Sealine, and if it really is only 5mm thick then I very much doubt it was. Lots of speculation in the article though, so difficult to draw any conclusions.

I'm confused now. Does the standard T60 hull as constructed by Sealine have an extension incorporated?

I can't see anything will be any good three years after immersion, also surprised with the extra 10 tons gained.

Just see this and think it's on eBay now... Taking its time to sell

Now down to £75K. ?
Still at loss as to how anybody with grain of commercial sense would buy this to sell on or to end up buying it ,unless it was virtually being given away.
At best its got a couple of possibly salvagable engines at worst its going to cost a fortune to cut the thing up and dispose of the hull.
It not as though the Sealine T60 was at the top of anybodies most desirable boat bucket list ?

The Sealine T60 "Aura" model had the extended bathing platform.
There were some offerings for an extended aftermarket platform going around.
The Hatch in the picture is not something Sealine would of fitted.
Certainly not, as their certification is for a circular metal inspection hatch - lever operated to clamp it down followed (for second protection) by a hefty stainless removable frame clamping the inspection hatches down.
The cavity is also foam filled with square removable sections of foam to allow access to the bilge pump therein.
So, if you are assuming then this is from the horses mouth !!!! (not you Nick)
