The translation isn't great but am I right in understanding this is what the article is suggesting. There has been water ingress into the hull extension and that water has blown the inspection hatch between the hull extension and the engine bay and sunk the boat? Not sure how they can infer that especially the inspection hatch blowing which might well have happened after the boat sunk. Boat builders use hull extensions regularly although I guess these are always watertight compartments separated from the rest of the hull. Any more opinions on this? Certainly it should make other T60 owners have the joints between the hull and extension on their boats checked out by an expert
