Let me guess, you're suffering from male PMT too?

Let's think up some ideas to keep us occupied in the meantime. I was confidently informed last night by SWMBO that the ability to survive on less than 4 hours sleep per night is a sign of intelligence, as Maggie (SWMBO of the most dangerous sort) did the same. Now Byron, you post at ridiculous times, as do I, Tome wanted to, and everyone else seems to be asleep after 23:00.

I reckon that being asleep by 22:00 is a far better indicator of intelligence, given the posts that occur after this time?

Opinions?

Don't keep regular hours, I sleep as and when I feel like it throughout the 24 hours. Been to bed already now sitting in my undies watching a movie typing this.
I sincerely would love to sleep for an 8 hour stretch just to see what its like.

Re: Big Tart....

Whats up with you? Can't go boating below 20 degrees ?

You don't even need to worry about the weather living on that nice bit of river you own.

We will be taking our Fairline up to Essex in a couple of weeks and coming back with the new tub. Then St Kats for Xmas.

No boating for 20 weeks ? My arse.

Re: Big Tart....

S'oright for you Dave, wearing your shirts gives you your own weather environment indeed keeping everyone within a cable's length of you wearing sunglasses.
I'm up here restricted by bridge heights (1" at Cookham) and at the mercy of the slightest rise in water levels. Top this off with the fact that this is the time they close Locks for repairs and I'm stuck here until April.

<Tome wanted to>

I take this as a slur Brendan. You'll recall that I was on heavy medication as advised by SB forum at the time. Half a pint of scotch was the main ingredient. I did stay awake one night til 2.30 but was unable to negotiate a keyboard, next night I fell asleep and woke up with a whole screen full of bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbs in front of me and a square indent on me head. Had I managed to post I doubt it would have made much sense. SWMBO tells me that very little I say makes much sense anyway after 23:00.

As for the boat, it's going back in the water as soon as the weather improves enough to antifoul. Fitted rope cutter, PSS shaft seal, fuel cut-off, new anodes and servicing seacocks today ready for the superb winter season. Eberspacher raring to go!

Now, now, don't be so sensitive. Not a slur at all, very encouraging that you are attempting late night postings. Just the actual practicalities of it that require a little work.

If I ever get my boat repaired, I'm going to be using it all winter long, no matter what the weather, to make up for the fact that I didn't get to use it all bleedin summer!

Re: 5 gallons of old used oilto go

Can I try the rags on first to see if they fit?
