hi all, not been around for quite a while. my '51 marina has just resurfaced from storage where I left her after failing to get my '61 Merc 350 outboard running faster than trolling speed, despite having replaced just about everthing possible from the US. (Sorry Chris Gulley, I had to give up, not just financial but health as well)
The boat took 2 years to rebuild and I would dearly love to get a little wet, while I still can.
I am now feeling a little fitter and would love to get a motor that will get this little 13 footer not only back in the water, but up to planing speed!
So get out into that garage, or boat house and see what you have that is surplus to requirements, in need of a service or small fix needed and available at not too much money!
I am not on the scrounge or collecting bits to sell on, I could really do with a leg up!
