1992 Sunseeker Lock

Hi Everyone,
thought I would try my luck on here, I am trying to find a 1992 Sunseeker San Remo lock, I do not know the correct phrase for it. I have a metal shutter type door that slides down from the top and locks in place on the deck. The lock is broken and I am trying to find a replacement. Have tried a locksmith to see if there are any modern replacments but he is scratching his head over this as well. Does anyone know what the lock type is called and if necessary any suitable replacement?
Would love to attach a picture but do not have posting permission to do so...

You could try Trend Marine Products as they supply spares for many types of doors and possibly supplied yours when new.
