The toilet door handle isn’t springing back to horizontal position due to damaged spring.
I have not yet used brutal force to open up the inside of the lock. (Locked marked with Mobella and 102.)

On a Bavaria forum did I found a matching description but somfar have I no clue of the spring dimension (length, diameter, torsion).
I am looking for someone that has solved this before and can hint where to find the right spring. It would be a low cost if I could by it from Ebay.

The first image shows 2 springs, the lower one is the broken spring.

I have been in contact with several retailers of Mobella McCoy door locks in Europe, the only spring they can provide is for the privacy function.

One Bavaria owner have shared a step by step YouTube video when he reused the original spring which will give a different tension. English subtitle.

Another Bavaria owner with a B37 2006 shared which spring he bought from Asraymond and others trying to follow him noticed a very high price when you by a few springs from this spring retailer. Wire dia 1 mm x OD 9.1 mm x L 28.4 mm.

Have tried to find a similar extension spring on Amazon sites but there GUI is not up to the task…when I find a match via google that product is unavailable (dia 1 mm x OD 9 mm x L 30 mm).

Hope to find an extension spring on Ebay or Temu.

According to a sailor completed spring replacement the looped ends need to be at 90 degrees.

Vielen dank fur Ihre hilfe.

I have now read guys using several different spring dimension.
A sister yacht used 1.2 x 8 x 30 mm, it worked for him.
A Bavaria B37 2006 owner used 1 x 9.1 x 28.4 mm.
And the example you shared used 1 x 8.3 x 32 mm.

I guess it isn’t rocket science as long it fits inside the lock with some required tension for the handle ;-)

The link to Ebay product is very useful, the loop ends needs to be at 90 degrees have I been told but with some mild force that can be fixed.

Thx again
