10 years after my days of boating in the Adriatic, ...

LOL, 'salright, challenge accepted.
For next week, before going onboard again, custard will be in the shopping list!

You're properly in the swing of how things work here now M, a few teasers, one or two facts and then zilch.

So I surmise that you're currently having a superyacht built somewhere in Northern Europe that will be ready for its maiden voyage next week. You'll be looking to take this mighty fine 150m vessel through the French canals, with a small diversion to Gibraltar to fill up with several million liters of cheap diesel. Somewhere along the way you will be picking up your 5m tender, uniquely designed to allow you to speed along at 74kts for a month without refueling. Along the way you'll be picking up several thousand Brits who will need to leave Europe pretty smartish after some Tory party minor internal squabbles. Your supertanker, sorry, yacht, will have room for several trillion Euros to be stuffed into every available space, along with anti aircraft missiles

:-/

May consider a swap!

Love this. Didnt realise i was being jabbed on a whole other thread tho.
See you in the Med, MapisM. And your very fine yacht, too!
With pleasure. Btw, my home port can host 50m boats easily.
AFAIK, the larger so far was Turmoil, a 64m expedition vessel - see pic below, with my old tub on stbd side of the dark blue hull Canados.

Though I'm afraid, with all due respect, that I must refuse your kind offer of a swap.
I recently ruled out some beautiful 62 footers because eventually I decided that a 56' is a big enough headache to manage and handle, for myself and my wife.
'Fiuaskme, the pharmaceutical industry doesn't make migrain pills big enough for a 50m headache... :D :p
