Steve, next time you see me, grab me and I'll talk you through it..... also drop of the exhaust elbow after the turbo, there a "spray matrix" that's more than likely gunked up that could retrisct the raw (sea) water side.

Petty much as per the thread title. In the market for a new LJ for me and SWMBO. Narrowed it down to the Ergofit or Spinlock, but which is best? Also what's the difference (apart from £60) between the ErgoFit 190N Offshore & Coastal...

Not sure, out drives need gears and throttles too? I'm sure someone cleverer than me will know why.

Not sure then. The GRP mouldings to take the separate controls all look original on ours? Maybe it was build option on the 450? Anyway they work well once you get used to them....

I like the separate gears/throttles too, seen a few British boats with this set up. I think it was a early 90's fad? They seem to disappear after about '93....

Yep we get about 1mpg, and still hit 30 knots with a clean bottom!

They are fantastic boats, we've had ours for nearly 7 years! Most came with the 380 71B engines. TBH there's nothing I'd like to change on ours, everyone who comes aboard is amazed at how much room there is. Unfortunately due to our planned move, ours is for sale...

I've set the LCD screen to turn off 30s after the last button press. The battery life is about 2hrs with or without the LCD back pack, have found it does depend on ambient temperature though....

Thanks for asking P, We're still in the grey & wet UK but the move is getting closer week by week....still lots to to do though! Latest hurdle is working out the best way to ship our RIB out there. It's a very wide beam so will only have 5 cms clearance in a container with the tubes deflated...
