Does the bleed screw have an o ring or seal? Is it lost or in good condition?

I suggest you contact (pm) skipper stu of this parish. He has become something of a MD22 expert. He wrote the recent boating magazine article about reconditioning an engine as a spare.

You don't mention charts or GPS. Can you navigate? The tides run at 4 to 6 knots in the North Channel. With a 'speed boat' they may not be a problem but you must take them into account. Make sure you identify the 2 buoys outside Larne and do NOT go between them. At springs there are overfalls...

You don't say what type of rig you have. If its fractional the shrouds in particular should be renewed more frequently. Juggler

Re: drawers for Centaurs The first photo shows a small bulkhead across the doorway into the front cabin. It has a gas fire mounted across it. Is it possible to get into the front cabin when the fire is on? Juggler

I have been insured with Sagic (part of Salvation Army I think). Allows up to 90 days unoccuppied. Reasonable cost without too many conditions.
