Hi all,
So I’m thinking about a sailing holiday in Phuket October this year. I’d be interested in any advice the forum has on sailing conditions at this time of year plus the go to/don’t go to places. We will be sailing a 30 foot catamaran which I haven’t done before plus have kids on board...
Came across this on you tube

I had never heard of them either and I'm pretty sure I've not seen one.
Anyone else know of other examples of them?

Hi All,
Im thinking of chartering in the BVI in the early part of next year. Does anyone have any information on how the Islands are recovering from the hurricane?
thanks

Hi All,
So the skin fitting on the speed log started weeping at the join between the collar and the inside of the fibreglass hull. The boat is on a drying mooring so at low tide I smeared copious amounts of silkafex on the filling on the inside of the hull and I estimate it had 4 hours before...
Hi All,
So myself and a few friends are chartering a boat out of Lefkas for a week and Im looking at the charts
and scouring the internet for suggested places to visit. I have chartered in the Inland sea before and
so in many ways I'd like to go North for a change of scenery. However it looks...
Hi all,
The seats finally fell apart this year so I'm having a local chippie knock up some new
Ones in plywood. What treatment would be best to waterproof them and also look
Attractive?

Hi All,
Is there a circuit breaker that would fit into a standard fuse holder? Such a device seems
to exist for "blade" type fuses but I cant seem to find an equivalent for for normal fuses
you tend to find in boat switch panels.
If not YAPPers get started!

Shame...
Hi,
Really sorry to hear that. Seems keeping a boat in wells is a risky prospect
recently. We're moored up there but have not seen anything. Where is
Your mooring?

It's not too drastic but after a couple of weeks on the drying mooring the bilge has a substantial amount of sea water sloshing around. Is there a quick way to find what must be a very slow leak? The boat is a snapdragon 27.
Cheers

How about?

Engine bound to be knackered so perfect!

Hi Dylan,
Have you considered a Snapdragon? Similar size and vintage as a Centaur but with encapsulated
keels; so no chance of them dropping off. Not a common as the Centaur but with the same "old
engine" problem.

Tranona I think that's a bit below the belt. Despite Dylan's affable style he is a determined character; I would have probably given up on the same mamouth trip given the trials and tribulations so far most of which have, to be fair revolved around the inboard engine. I think Dylan has made his...
