Hi Warwicksail,
Love the photo, I took some video of the ice flows going by there last winter.
How about posting your icy photo on the TBC website?
We could do with some more contributions there.

Hi all,
I have a dilemma that you may be able to help me with?
Which bow roller would you choose, Vetus Asterix or Osculati 01.419.00?
I have been quoted very similar prices.
From information online both are suitable for my 8mm chain and 12mm rope.
The Osculati is suitable for anchors upto...
Hi Dipper,
This guy is highly recommended for his fishing boat fittings, might be worth seeing if he can help? He is based in Lymington, so almost in Dorset.

Good luck
I really like your set up Clyde_wanderer and will look into having something similar made up. I had already decided to fit a reinforcing stap down the prow and have measured for refixing the forestay.
Thanks to everyone who contributed.
Sorry Vic I should have said Corribee 21.
The existing stemhead fitting is little more that a fairlead.
The 25lb plough is a bit of an overkill but I have one and might as well use it.
I thought if it were mounted there permanently, it would be handy when the conditions warranted a heftier...
I know that bow rollers are a popular topic here, but here's another.
Question:
I want to mount a 25lb plough anchor on a replacement bow roller. The anchor is connected to 8mm chain and 12mm rope. What would you suggest I buy?
Your thoughts would be much appreciated
Cheers
Hi Snoopy,
I had this problem earlier this week.
I emailed the secretaries of all the Member Clubs of the Bristol Channel Yachting Association asking if they had any available.
The first to get back to me with some was
James Burnell, Marina Manager at Watchet Marina...
Thank you all for your input. I think I will go with the indelible marker, thanks Graham. Thanks for your honesty csail I know a lot of people would have tried for the sale, I will need some vinyls soon so I will pm you when I have measured them up.
Thanks again.
Kev
I am new to sailing and would appreciate a little help.
How do you permenantly mark an inflatable tender, in this case a Waveline dinghy with solid transom and slatted floor?
Thanks in advance for assistance offered.
Thank you all for your advise.
I couldn't agree with William_H more, traded mine in for a younger model, a lot less hassel than the older redundant one, and much easier to operate.
Looks like vango is the way to go.
Cheers

I recently purchased a rule 1100 bilge pump and now find that it has a 1 1/8" (28mm) Hose barb.
My problem is what hose can I get that will fit this?
The 25mm ID reinforced hose I have here will not stretch that far.
Any suggestions?
Have you looked at ASAP Supplies?
