I want to fit fixed Trim Tabs to my Seamaster 30, just to keep the nose down when cruising. Can anyone suggest the angle of tabs to hull and is this critical as I will only be doing around 9kts?

Does any one know where I can get Butane gas cylinders, in England, that can be exchanged in France? I don't want to carry half a dozen different bottles and have been told that I can't exchange Calor butane types.

Anyone had experience of cruising the French canals through the winter? I harbour hopes of getting down to the Med, setting off in October weather permitting!! Any info regards stoppages, locks, psychiatric help etc. would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks for replies re Pet Passports...
