Trim tabs

I want to fit fixed Trim Tabs to my Seamaster 30, Not for speed just to keep the nose down! Can anyone suggest what the angle to the hull should be or is this not so critical at displacement speeds? I had thought about ballast up front but "first mate" and friend standing in the bows only just seemed to compensate. Adds up to a lot of sand bags!!

Used to be able to buy trim tabs with adjustable bottle screws to enable modest adjustment. Suggest you fit and adjust and test, adjust and test ........ etc.
