    Boat Show Rogues!!

Er, no. A Waly dayboat for the back mooring. Robust with plenty of space and will survive living under a tree better than other boats. Not the sexiest thing there but then neither was I

    Maidstone and. Mudway advice

We are looking at going to the Rambling Man Fair in July. Rather than book expense accommodation, perhaps go by boat? Would be interested in thoughts on the journey from St Kats in a displacement boat and also the availability of moorings in the grand old town of Maidstone.

    5 Years of Volunteer Lockies

SWMBO loves volunteer lock keeping and really enjoyed the event today. It has given her a wonderful insight into the river and a different perspective to the one you get from boating. We are not all a pleasant crowd ;) but the majority of us are fun :) She'll be back again next year.

advice for a first time up river of Tower Bridge please

I do not know narrow boats but I think it is important to check there are no openings near the waterline that can let water in. Apart from that, it is an excellent trip. I agree with Old Git - get on the flood and ride the water all the way to Teddington
