....and everyone involved with the event at West India.
Excellent weekend.
Two or three boats from the Thames followed us back home in order to visit the Mudway including "Sarah Two" from PH.
For first time ever had decent weather in both directions and apart from the nearly put water in the fuel tank episode and start boat in gear cockup ,everything went perfectly smoothly.

I wasn't too keen initially, a long weekend in the concrete jungle wasn't my idea of a relaxing weekend but it turned out to be absolutely superb.
Lots of well-run activities, nothing was too much trouble for the organisers and we'll definitely return next Year.
It must have been a logistical nightmare to put together, but was a seamless operation :)

Oooo... look thats usual,is that a T36 we see skulking in there.
Ps the owner of the posh Sunseeker up the far end was a club member ,not sure if he still is ?

Actually low point of the weekend was reading the bill after some not over impressive grub in "BROWNS" to discover a glass of "whine" was SEVEN blimming quid.
It was Weatherspoons the following evening and the bogs were much cleaner as well.
As for Cafe Rouge the toilets were disgusting and thats being polite.
Ahem....Nice shot of that boat in the second picture, got to be a bargain at the mere 30K the owner wants for it.One careful owner etc :)

Thanks for coming and really glad you all enjoyed it. There was certainly a happy vibe about the place all weekend. The great weather helped too. But without a doubt the Docklands Scout Project folks really made the event. Also many people have said how much they enjoyed the dancing bar staff.

Thanks for producing that magic little blue box :)
Amazing to watch that sailing ship entering the dock
And apologies to the taxi picking up the pilot who we so very nearly squashed while on gate duty.
Not good idea to leave me in charge of anything electronic, even if it does have only two buttons and only one of those works.
