Hi Sailorman
I believe you have an Oyster Heritage
You may enjoy watching these lovely people sailing RTW vids
during your convalescence
Here's a tour of their boat
Boat Tour: Our live aboard bluewater cruiser Florence – Ep.46 - YouTube
Their are a few swing moorings, just out side Titchmarsh marina, easy row to shore with dingy storage, and train station Frinton/walton to Colchester
Give them a tinkle
I was more interested in the pics
I have a confession to make
As a young teen, In bed I would hide under the sheets with a torch
and fantasize over those lovely curves in Yachting monthly
I have insulated the interior cupboards of my boat which were painted, with EVA matting ( probably same as yoga mats )
Contact adhesive gave up after a while and was messy etc.....
Then I tried CTI sealant and has worked a treat,

BT batt is 65AH high cranking battery, as per installation guide
I,m thinking even with running a high amp rated cable, which I do not want to do
the BT batt going flat could still ask very high current rate,s from the Starter batt
Just want a simple device to restrict high ampage flow, if...
My new set up is a Battery close to the Bow Thruster fed by a charge cable from the Starter battery and Alternator when engine is on
The charge cable is 16mm2 on a 8 mtr run rated at 50 amps
I have fitted 50 amp fuse at BT batt end, and a 50amp cct breaker at Starter Batt end, via a batt...
Hi LittleSister
I have a Max Power CT45 at 3.2 Kw power, rated at 250 amps at 11 volts
I have a 70mm2 cable, 2 mtrs) from BT batt to BT, this should be more than adequate
The BT batt is connected to the Starter batt, with the engine running, I can see 14.4 volts at the BT
then down to over 10...
I have an in line Bow Thruster fuse at 125 amps from BT battery to BT
which has now blown twice
This was probably due to over use of running my new BT,( as a test ) and battery going flat, low volts high amps
The BT on start up will probably draw over 300 amps
Would it be ok to fit a circuit...
I know ... Grrrr...
I was on a sailing holiday at time,
One more problem with the RM 69 and it will be a Jabsco for me
A chap at SMN did allude to they had problems with the RM(69spares
I have a RM 69 toilet that was not pumping to well
so ordered a new pump assembly from Seamark Nunn
With in a couple of weeks the plastic valve toggle broke inside the pump
On inspection the plastic toggle split in half, Hmmm....
Ordered new toggles from SMN
This year I servicing the toilet I...
The fuel in the tank is from last years tour along the south coast, can remember where I bought it from
Probably Dartmouth
Have been wetting my appetite reading your blog about the Baltic John (y)
