Gents, I am looking at this system to run on a Mac Air with a GPS dongle. I like charts that look as much like the original Admirality charts as possible. I have only used C - Map in the past on dedicated Raymarine devices. I need some help deciding what Cartography I should use as the choice...

Dehumidifier and heater I bought one of these from Force 4 http://www.force4.co.uk/7265/Seago-Portable-Dehumidifier.html and made up the tubular heater in the picture from bits bought from my local plumbers merchant. Great combination, boat is dry and cosy.

Another vote for the Petzl e + lite Headlamp. Has a red as well as a white light for night vision and is also a powerful strobe light if needed. small and light with waterproof case.
