Condor Cats
In the 1970's Zygal made in Whitstable the Condor Racing Cat. It was 16ft 6in long and had a single trapeze wire. They were very popular on the East Coast.
The Condor was killed by the introduction of the Dart which had better marketing. The boat became the Huricane 4.7 but never took off due to the competition.
I understand that the ex owner of Zygal Aurthur Edmunds also had a go at light keel boats and made some Limbo lift keel racers.

They made the Limbo 6.6, and were based in Whitstable if that's any help (according to the builders badge on my Limbo anyway). As far as I know they're long out of business though.
