The reason that clothing shops gathered in Carnaby St in the 60's was because it was the place everyone went to in order to buy clothes. If YBW continue to attract new users and secures its place as the No. 1 portal, then the presence of Compass and the rest of us will only enhance the traffic for everyone.

Anyone got firm information on 'trade' v 'retail' prices in the marine market. Obviously this will differ with product groups, but these must be substantial when compared with similar items available from 'land based' B&Q's.

We Channel-hop our Pageant out of Weymouth - but with a three-year-old we're a bit limited. Not quite the Aegean but it has its moments.

£639 now from Compass, and therefore the best price around.

In the light of the fury raised when it was not competitive, I think the least that can be done to congratulate Compass on the new price level.
