Quite chuffed with that, and am confidednt I can improve during leg 2.

Yes, we had a suspected keel failure (I went for the cheaper Bavaria VO70) and abandoned ship somewhere south of the Azores. We expected the boat to sink, but didnt really mind what happened as we washed up on a little known island inhabited entirely by three score virgins all bewteen the ages of 19 and 24.

Very odd.

Yes, cant remember the exact delay but I think it was about 36 hours after the official start. I missed all the strong winds in the med etc.
