I have a Yanmar 3GM30F with a leaking sea water pump. It can only be the water seal but I cant find anyone to sell me one. Anyone solved this problem? Would be grateful for advice.

It is a standard size metric seal with a stainless spring.Just get an over the counter one and replace the spring with the one from the old seal.

Don't know if this helps but check carefully to see where the leak is. On my 3HM35, the water pump had spigots for the hose that were a very strange size. They were 17.2mm OD so when putting 19mm reinforced hose on them it was very difficult to squash the hose on to get a water tight fit. I had so much trouble that I set to work with my lathe to make some spigots with 19mm OD so that the standard 19mm ID hose fitted snugly. Worth checking before serious work on the pump seals.

If you look on the simplybearings.co.uk you will find all the right sizes of the parts you need, i rebuild all yanmar pumps using parts from here (nothing to do with me though).
you need skf 62002zc3 10x30x9mm double sheilded ball x2
10x25x7mm double lip viton rubber seal with stainless garter spring
