Yanmar compression meter

I would like to check the compression on both !GM 10s -one runs rather better (& starts better). The diesel workshop in Olhão doesn't have right size but say that they can easily make one from and old injector but the only old injectors that I have are in use in the engines - I would be grateful for advice.

Is the injector to make an adaptor for their compression gauge? There are just a few sizes of injector and you should be able to borrow the correct adaptor from a regular garage.
That's what I would do in the UK but I don't know the situation in Olhao!

They have a dozen different ones but not the one that I need.
I am hoping that someone wants to sell an old one.

I've been down this road. The Yanmar injector fitting is not a common type, a modified old injector is the only way of doing the job unless you hunt high and low for an off the shelf item on the web.
