can anyone tell me what oil and how much for both engine and gearbox -- thanks in anticipation

Most of what you need to know is in the service manual.

Any cheap diesel oil, I use Tesco own brand. Not sure of quantity but the same goes in gearbox as engine

mineral 10-40 oil in both

Agree wi8th Steve about engine oil but pretty sure that transmission is different - might be 30 but manuals not handy.
