What's happened to the Nautical World Marine Catalogue people?
They used to have a pretty good on-line catalogue (a copy of their comprehensive paper catalogue) available via the yachtpeople.com link.

About 2 weeks ago, their site changed to show an "under construction" logo. I've just re-visited and found the most horrible site I've seen for a long time. Bears no resemblance to their former self and no sign of their catalogue.

Anyone know what's going on?
Anyone care to offer a competitor for "worst site" accolade?

Wasn't this part of Action Leisure, that went in to admin. receivership last month? Company assets purchased now.

Yachtpeople.com seems to have been taken over by some other group.
If you look under www.cruisermart.co.uk you will find beginings of the web site for the ten outlets that were at one time grouped under Action Lesure.
Even talk of a new catalogue in the future

the domain now seems to be used by some awful American site "trying" to be a portal.

I used to use the 24 & 48 hour synoptic charts on yachtpeople.com and miss them already!

Try www.wetterzentrale.de for synoptic charts, they have a huge range, all free! Its in german, but easy enough and some of the charts are US navy and met office, you need the "topkarten" page, without frames "ohne frames". Try it, its an excellent site.
