I need a re-insurance sailing yacht survey in Curacao but am having difficulty finding one via various internet searches. Can anyone give me a contact please?
I see what you mean re internet searches - not much comes up.
There is a Bahamas flag state surveyor in Curacao - Robert Sint Jago - you could perhaps try contacting him to see if he is also a small craft surveyor. http://www.bahamasmaritime.com/countries/netherlandsdutch-antilles/
Or if he is just involved in ships, he might know somebody who surveys small craft.
(I thought I would have a look on the Bahamas site, as we represent the BMA in Barbados).
Thanks for your replies, I'll try these contacts. Or sail without insurance until anchoring off somewhere that will have more choice. Not ideal but we have come across several people that think anything other than 3rd party in a marina etc is not worth the cost!
