No it a possibility I was musing on getting it back to Galicia,yes quite a draft,by next summer It could be sold.In the rias there’s not much on offer unless you go up in price to 12,000. 13,000 euros there is a Jouet 24 in the ria de Vigo but with a new engine they are asking 20,000 euros?

I have done it the other way round a couple of times, stopping almost everywhere.
The longest stretch is Lagos/Sagres around Cape St Vincent up to Sines (about 90nm IIRC), halfway there is a tiny anchorage which might be ok in very settled weather. The rest are 20/30-50nm passages.
Not sure daily hops going north would be the right approach during summer, maybe better wait for some S-SW winds and accumulate all the miles you can in a single passage, before the daily nortada sets in again...

New factor is the orcas…..

You can withdraw the rudder pin & lift the blade aboard the boat. It would leave you without steerage but the Orcas would only have a cast iron keel to bite. They may push it & capsize the boat but hopefully the boat should self right. The crew needs to be firmly tied on to the deck of course.
