xmas holidays

who is braving the cold weather to slip in a few days boating over the christmas period?

Me....just waiting for a nice day or two to have a blast out to the Needles or maybe Cowes. You miss some fab days in the winter if you're boats out of the water. Mine stays in till about March then out for a week or so...bit of paint on the bum and a hull polish, service, probably an outdrive rebuild or two  Don't you love outdrive boats! At least they consistently need tlc.

Weather Permitting.......

We have planned to be in Yarmouth on Boxing Day on our new (to us) Princess 42 (Fly). Boxing Day will be our 1st venture out on the new boat. Plan is to have lunch in "The George", visit other social hostelries in the vicinity and then stay overnight. If we make it give us a call......you will be made welcome. Other boat with us will be a Camargue 50 HT.

Hi Dave, which 42 have you bought, is it from Princess? ive looked at a few there.

Yes...it was (is) from Princess..........2006 boat, beautiful condition, genny, heating, passarelle etc.

Was hoping to bring her home today but it did'nt happen...........looks like Tuesday or Wednesday next week now.

Ahh the one from Torquay, a very nice boat with TAMD75ps in?

Which Princess 42

I believe she was Brixham based up until September 2011, then she was brought up to Swanwick.

We are really pleased with her..........virtually unmarked and just 219 hours. Survey found very little. Princess Brokers have been great........really looking forward to getting our hands on it.............it's virtually 4 years since we sold our last boat so missed the banter in and around the Solent etc. ..........it's going to be a great 2012 !!!!!

Will be out New Years Eve and day on the Thames. Ross I'll keep an eye out for you. :D

Will be in Yarmouth for Christmas, boatless visiting family!

Will look enviously at Yarmouth harbour as we go past....

Come on, post a few pics of your boats, even if they are on the hard.

I went out today, it was very quiet on the Hamble. The air was still and the water calm, I rowed around Port Hamble Marina as they have removed the pontoons for dredging.
