XM inflatable danbuoy rearming kit CO2 cylinder size

I 'tested' one (not sure if it was XM) because the cylinder was completely rusted. Afterwards a normal 33g replacement cylinder went in OK.

Maybe easiest to take one out of a lifejacket and compare it to the old one in the danbuoy.

33g is no where near big enough, just compare the physical size of a 33g and the correct original one, the fitting may be the same, but the cylinder size will most definitely be different.

PLEASE YOU MUST CHECK AND REPLACE WITH THE CORRECT SIZE IN THIS PIECE OF SAFETY EQUIPMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know 33 g is too small I am out in the Middle East and the boat is in Greece. It should be about 60 g. I looked on a couple of web sites but they do not give the size.

Yes thats the one usually rail mounted on the stern contained in a yellow or white plastic container.

Please refer to this website for the correct information you need. As you will see it is a 60g NOT a 33g as suggested.
