I have spent weeks (well actually weekends) fitting a new heating system on Little Ship. The Admiral decided that hot water would be good when away from the marina so I quickly purchased a Thermo top. I wasn't going to let her change her mind about the cost of the outlay!

Well last night for the first time I switched it on and tested it..........

Toasty warm /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Cant wait to try it out when I'm back in the water! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I am looking forward to the installation of the Jacuzzi on the aft deck, hopefully in time for your next booze invasion.

Please remind Kwaka to bring his cozzies. Don't want to discover any stray equipment under the water.

Be carefull, Tom, too much mollycoddling is bad for 'em ya know. (that's dogs & wimmin) Now you have running hot water you won't be able to leave the harbour for more than a day trip because you will need the water tanks refilling every day!

I make my wimmin crew carry a couple of 5 gal water containers to top up the water before we leave (even if it has mostly been filled by hose already). That way they understand how valuable water is & how difficult it can be to top up in remote anchorages.

That soon cuts down on the hair washing & makes sure that sea water is used where practical!
