Would you buy a raspberry Pi based multiplexor/datalogger if it was easy?

Would you be interested in a raspberry pi based data multiplexor/data logger if it looked easy?

Let's face it, you must be one of the most negative people on the forums, every single step of the way it's doom and gloom...

Bitter experience of software development in the real world, perhaps. However resourced, experienced, dedicated, motivated and skilled the team, however many processes you follow, however big the budget, however long you have to do it - all software projects turn into Rust eventually. It's the way of the world.

I've not bought an enclosure since I've had a 3d printer. If you've not got a 3d printer you should get one - it will satisfy your need for fiddling, frustration and f-ing and blinding at things not working how you expect no end. Actually it would be quite nice if more of the open marine electronics projects came with ready to print (or order) files for enclosures.

I have two 3D printers ... Colida direct feed and an Ender 3 Pro Bowden feed ... I also have a Laser Cutter / Engraver ....

Because I am not good with CAD ... I am limited to downloading others work .. modifying to my need .... but still find myself looking for an 'over-counter' item.

Oh nearly forgot .... I have also a Free-hand 3D Printer pen ...

Where did you get the idea that I have some weird need for all that negativity?
oh I think you are misinterpreting some humour! My point was you clearly are not someone who wants the simplest out the box solution and is not prepared to learn how to use a tool. You would love a 3d printer. Jesus they can be frustrating sometimes though.

really? I'm honoured to have made it to such status... could you give me some examples which you used to reach your conclusion though (ignoring this thread where I've obviously pissed you off in some way by trying to provide you with some constructive thoughts around your random "product pontifications".

often about things you know nothing about.
I'm quite impressed you've managed to come to that conclusion. there are many things I know nothing about, some I'll even share my thoughts on here (usually with an appropriate caveat). Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they know nothing about the topic. In fact since I'm not conscious of regularly disagreeing with you - it probably means you've failed to understand the meaning of what I wrote.

Doesn't have to be that way. First positive step would be regonising and admitting it to yourself. Much nicer to live in a happy positive world.
I've offered you free advice to try and make your project more likely to succeed. The word you were looking for was "Thanks". I wasn't seeking input on my disposition. I may have mistakenly assumed you were looking for discussion or input because you posted on an internet forum. I realise now, you were not looking for anyone else to contribute but rather just wanted everyone else to tell you your ideas were great. So thanks for wasting my time.

How was anyone supposed to know? Your comments fitted right in with all the other posts which were pretty much humour free., online learn to use emoji's , very important to get the context from unavailable body language across.

No surprise at all that you got a sloppy response.

Intelligent readers can understand context without needing emojis. Perhaps you should put some of that love of learning new stuff you have into learning how to interact with other people online.
