I never notice a cloud of smoke from the boat when i really rev it though?

I did an "Italian tuneup" on Kindred Spirit's 2GM20 once. Smoothly down the Itchen to warm it up, then up to max chat and blasted (to the extent that a tubby 24-foot long-keeler can blast :) ) up and down the docks for half an hour. There was certainly a big cloud of black smoke when I first upped the revs, but it was burning cleanly by the time I finished.

Similar to when i use exs car.She swears it goes better after i have 'de-coked' it.She is stuck in traffic all day so a good thrashing seems to work.

Does she thrash you or do you thrash her?
Are there any boots used, handcuffs etc?
-- more details please
Much more interesting than if someone's donk has enough pushing power
