It is all BarryH's fault, he got me thinking again! Ages ago I spotted a damaged aquastar up for sale on a couple of web sites, then one day it popped up on ebay so I bit and asked for more info, I was still a little sceptical and it never sold. Ebay listing was : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2495038050
I got a couple more pics and info stating that the boat was grounded damaging one side of the hull and sinking the boat, it has since had the hull repaired and the engines removed and rebuilt. It looks like that is where the work stopped. It needs a total elictrical and internal refit, huge job I guess but I like these boats and keep feeling tempted to look into it some more. Between us we have a good mechanical and practicle ability, as well as a friendy boat builder.
My question as I said is, would we be off our heads??? Would have no intention of paying anything like the asking price, or am I wrong on that too?
