I think it's an acquired taste; the meat has more haemoglobin in it than we're used to - sort of redder than red meat. I was once offered some (out of a can) and decided I didn't fancy; the meat has a loose texture as well as being obviously very bloody, and I think it would take some getting used to. However, the Inuit live on the things, so it must be reasonably nutritious!Do they make good eating?
