Yes I remember paying top money for moorings in Lincoln.
I once notified them that a pallet had drifted in between a jetty and a Fairline Corniche (on sale by them), and the boat was constantly banging into the pallet at waterline height. Needless to say, the next weekend, it was still there doing the same.
My previous boat was broken into, and left with open covers, smashed door and smashed window. I only found out a week later through 'a friend of a friend' that they'd had a few breakins at the marina, so I went to check my boat. The marina hadn't even spotted the damage, asked me to see the police to increase the pressure for more surveylance, and offered no help in securing a replacement window, or even temporary tape/plastic to cover the hole.
They even tried to charge me for the following years fees, despite my written 'resignation'.
