Re: Radio talk

Brothers dog is called Fanny. Year before last she swallowed a fish hook with bacon on it, his wife called the coast guard.........Fanny's swallowed a fishhook...it is now one of their case studies!

Re: plan a

Ah yes I had forgotten about this. Previous posting Plan a never came to a conclusion although it is a long and interesting story, so this boat is a result of plan ?

Re: naming after the wife

Not such a bad idea, just can't quite see the name Norah written across the sail stack bag, besides am seeking something sleek, sexy, fun and fast.....ouch that rolling pin hurt!

How about jagjugs

Jaguars are sleek and fast.

Jugs are fun and sexy!

Well it meets all the criteria - where's me mill then?

Re ; golf

It's bad enough going to play, naming the boat after it would definately have me in the single handed sailing club! Clever & amusing suggestion though.

Re: not Norah

So is the Manguffa, Diana II, the second boat or the second Diana? or somefink else?

Problem with naming after wife is most boats are owned for 10 years on average, most marriages last 7. Bit like getting a tattoo with your beloved's name on.

good question!

it's the second diana (boat). Anyway, not too difficult to change the name, apart from hocus pocus.

okay then, how about "Whassername" or if that's taken then "Thingy". or SWMBO?
