Re: G\'eau Carte

I'm beginning to think that this thread is just one big con. We haven't heard from David-E for nearly 24hrs.....he seems to have gone to ground. I suspect that there isn't a cache of one million for one of us to go and spend.

I'm going to call up Interpol. Does anyone know their E-mail address?

Cadenza, Pwllheli

The boat name is linked to the port, I think. Mine is registered in London. David E's could be registered in a Welsh Port.

It rarely rains for longer than four hours........

Re: Cadenza can also be read as ...

I prefered TCM's interpretation.

"Showing off a bit, having a good time, and making it all up as you go along."

It rarely rains for longer than four hours........

Re: Cadenza, Pwllheli

Thanks for this and to all for the contributions.

In true maritime style the boat was named with the sprinkling of Champagne on the foredeck by a Virgin (my daughter!) and followed by a party on board. We all slept well that night!

The name chosen is 'touraine' after one of our favourite wine regions in France.
