Williams Turbo Jet 285 with Weber 850 engine malfunction

Hi guys

The malfunction/warning lamp is flashing on my Williams Turbo Jet 285 with Weber 850 engine. Everything works properly. Anyone with an idea how to solve this?

Get it checked out by a Williams dealer asap. We had a similar issue last summer (flashing lamp but absolutely no other signs of a problem) and so given it was mid season and we were cruising in the Med we continued after speaking with the local dealer to use the boat. 6 months later it goes for a service and we now find seawater carryover (and we always always freshwater flushed our williams and took super care of it) into the exhaust system requiring several new - and no doubt expensive - parts from Williams……trouble is they have no parts available and nor does the engine manufacturer Textron….worse yet, they are non committal even about when they might have spares available!!!!
So here we are in mid May and fast approaching the summer season with no idea when our tender might be working again!!!
