That's a relief, but being off the Owers (ie Selsey Bill) to the SW requiring a Lifeboat, having declared for Eastbourne per someone's previous post on this thread, presumably to their shore contact who got worried?
That confuses me.
Someone said they wore a white ensign, so RYS or RN?

Also, if end port changed to a Solent port, why no text message to shore contact-I've had a signal up to 30nm out usually, due to cliff masts above the big coastal towns.
Basic passage=almost 90 degree run to Dungeness, so TSS done quickly,chance to hide in Rye if tide allows, or allow for tide, anchor, or go sands and rock hopping if tide E going til it turns, then just short tacks to Royal Sov up the inshore traffic lane(might even get a reach inshore), park up,eat, beer, sleep, job done.
