I have nothing but praise for Boats.co.uk. I have bought 3 x new fairlines, and sold all 3, through them. Always fair and keep their word. VERY good at selling used boats, and are brand agnostic.
I do have a soft spot for Boats.co.uk
Trevor Betts sold us our S37 when he was at Sealine. It felt like he was working with me to get a deal. He then went to Grand Banks before Boats. The culture followed him it seemed

Yup - Trevor is most certainly one of the good guys in the boat business. Always enjoy a chat/beer with him at boat shows.

IIRC we were quoted £7k to truck a T43 from Essex to Altea earlier in the year. Remember that VAT has been abolished on truck costs.

Ref Cala D'Or, it's worth considering as they were offering half price brokerage fees and free hard standing earlier in the year.

Deffo worth a call to to boats.co.uk as they may have space on a truck heading back from the Med.
When I sold my Princess 61 in Alicante I gave it to the local broker and had in mind to give them 3 months and if it did not sell then drive it to Cala D'Or where Nick Barke would sell it for me. Free on-shore storage but 300E per month to keep it clean. As it happened the local broker sold it in a week but you might want to have a chat with Nick and see if he will do a similar deal. Plus you get a nice delivery trip. Lots of brits in Mallorca so a Sealine is not unfamiliar

Yes, Sealine Sales had a spot in the Balearics and also in Ginesta near Barcelona so quite a few around from that era. I wish my local brokers were a bit less sharklike.
Thanks for the contact

Another benefit of going with the Barkes is that they will give you a pretty honest assessment of your boats true value. They’re in a good position to value it in Spain and/or in the UK, with high-volume sales operations in both. They’d also potentially be willing to buy it off you. They also in some cases offer a hybrid stock/brokerage arrangement where a potential purchaser can do a PX. Got to be with a chat imho.

Interest rates have risen very sharply this year. Also conditions on revenue and down payment (typically more than 50% required now) have got a lot more difficult.
You can expect to be offered a 20% discount on a new boat without even asking or negotiating.
20% on a new boat? Wowsa. I would have thought closer to 10% today.

You are probably right since lead times on new boats seem to be going out again.
You probably realise you are answering an old thread of mine and I have mentioned it in other threads but to complete the story on this one, the boat sold for £95k by Burton Waters and after 3 weeks. Just at the top end of @Portofino prediction on #52

Sealine S37 Sports Cruiser 9042356 – Burton Waters Boat Sales
