Has N korea got nukes?

The reality is that with our current growth in population and running out of oil and gas unless there is a major breakthrough in harnessing solar or wave/tide energy everone will need nuclear power in 30 yrs and hence have access to nukes.

The dinosaurs could not cope with a changing environment and we seem to be approaching a stage of human development that we cannot cope either!

Aha, you got us with the neat request for facts. But as with Iraq, there wouldn't be any "facts" if inpectors got chucked out of iran as well, would there?

There would only really really be some facts after they had used their hitherto secret nuke.

They haven't said they won't do this, hence so far the facts are that the new president of Iran has denied the holocaust and wants israel to move to Alaska or "off the map". This is quite significant spooky stuff. I mean, it's not the sort of thing you would say if you planned a boring nucleqar power plant, or some wind farms, really.

These are hard subjects. Innocent people might indeed die. Probably fewer if a bomb factory is attacked first, tho.

So. Whats so wrong in moving Israel to Alaska. I mean, they've wandered about every where else.

But check if any one else lives there first.

Alternativly there may be a nice warm place with plenty of water. Hmm.

I've been rewatching Lawrence of Arabia today. He renownsed his awards from king George. Cos the government renounced on the agreament with the Arabs. Cos they'd done a deal with the Frenchies.

Anyway they seem to be wandering out of the West bank now. So that might help a bit.

The peculiar thing is. The romans, the normans and the vikings came here. They did not leave. They sort of worked into society.

If you went to live in france. You would eventually speek french, or your kids would, or there kids would. Over a few generations you would become french, Dutch, Where ever. You'd be just like them.

Now hang on. We are now talking since mosses was a lad. Slightly before world war two, when all the Polls came across. Think I'm rambling a bit, but still looks very odd.

well you have a fair point.

Frexample, altho you being lancashire and me obviously being from Yorkshire, i am nevertheless always perfectly nice to you and for example I don't rub your nose in it too much at all that Yorkshire is God's Own County and Lancashire not.

WHEREAS

Jeez jewish people on and on and on rattling away and on and on there's no conceding the slightest inch, ever. And next door to them the arab types some of which already obv a bit bonkers too, lobbing rocks about etc which never happened across yorks/lancs border much cos their mams wd've clattered them and it's a bit foggy on the moors so probly wd've whacked each other by accident or gone to the wrong fight at kirby moorside instead of kirby something else . Or like a lot of visitng fans go to Elland instead of Elland Road 15 miles away, an easy mistake.

PLUS of course no drink allowed in various places in middle east as it stands and it's all hot to make it worse. With flies and sandstorms, ugh. They will never sort it out without Big Changes.

SO

Much more reaonable to move entire contents of israel and perhaps some other areas to unused bits of scotland to cool down a bit. And allow some yorks/lancs types to sort out israel, and have nice villas and caffs and pubs and such with general grumbling about weather and russian softies permitted, but no guns. If they like, Iran could move to Chernobyl where they have a nuclear plant that just needs a bit of fixing up, i bet that's cheap as well.

But by all accounts the Arabs are already all moving to England so is it a good idea to have the Jewish all living right next door in Scotland? At least there would be a wall already half build between them I spose, they had to do one of those from scratch in Israel.

What about in Ireland?

Nope - assimilation as put forward by hlb will sort them out, plus the rain and aforementioned mams clattering them will make them pack it in. Same as with War of the Roses was sorted out once all the toffees had gone.
