Me!! Why do the great unwashed feel they have to go flying in the festive season, why on earth can't they get to where they need to be a week, or at least a few days before, and let everyone have some peace?

Technically, I too. Confess though that I managed to be at home with family for midnight and eventually finished at about 02.00. Plenty of trees down and a 'wee sup of watter' but no major incidents and no -one hurt. Hope to celebrate with a win for Carlisle later on. Happy New Year.

Yup, I worked today. Customer Services at full stretch, with several thousand people in Greenwich for a mainly sunny day out, visiting the attractions, museums, Royal Park, Royal Observatory etc. Privilege to be there to help. Start a week's holiday tomorrow ...... not visiting Greenwich, though.
