Following a lively outing off North Wales on Sunday I find myself looking for a tiller for a Dockrell 27. Tried searching the www in vain. Does anybody know where I can get one? Many thanks

Usually you get tillers made by a shipwright or carpenter, or diy if you're competant. I carry a spare, since a broken tiller would be such a PIA.

Not familiar with the design of your tiller. Is it the same as that on the Hurley 27 where it fits into the transom hung rudder?

When we had a Hurley 27 back in 1990's, it had been fitted with a new tiller. This had been laminated and profiled by a local boatbuilder, and fitted with original Hurley tiller fittings.

I am afraid you will probably have to follow suit.

There was a Hurley association back in the 90's, but it was the Hurley 22 association, but covered all models. Could never get a responce from them when I tried to join, better look now.
